ABOUT US
Welcome! We are a group of high school students heartfelt about making fashion more personal and sustainable. Our collective goal is to give thoughtfully picked secondhand clothing to people who may not often get a chance to exrpess their own style. We believe clothing is more than a necessity. It offers comfort and a sense of identity. This is why we will make sure to take time to select pieces that reflect a person's true preferences, whether it be colors they love or styles that make them feel at home in their own body. Through our work, we truly hope to bring dignity and individuality back into the experience of receiving clothing, showing that even the smallest, intentional choices can make someone feel seen and valued.

President
Isabella Hur
Hello! My name is Isabella Hur and I am the founder of ComforCloset. I am a student attending the Academy of the Holy Angels. I have a deep respect for the arts whether it be visual, musical, literary, or performing. I have always been drawn to various different art forms as I believe they offer special, personal ways of interpreting, connecting, and understanding the world. As an artist, musician, and enjoyer of all things films or books, I value how it captures emotions and notices aspects of life that go overlooked. The same attention transfers into how I approach others. Art teaches me to notice the details, appreciate the unnoticed, and respond with intention and genuine care. Through this project, I aim to lead and demonstrate that small, meaningful gestures such as carefully chosen clothes, personalized connections, and dedicated attention can make an impact that is truly, deeply human.

Vice President
Eva Koo
Hi! My name is Eva Koo and I am a student at the Academy of the Holy Angels. I have a love for both the arts and science. I play the flute, do archery, and in my free time, I enjoy reading and creating art, specifically watercolor and drawing. I joined Comfort Closet because of my love for both art and service. My sincere hope is to support those facing difficult circumstances by providing them with a sense of joy and pride in themselves. As the vice president I look forward to being able to combine my passions!

In my free time, I enjoy playing violin, listening to music, taking care of my dog, and playing video games.

Secretary
Victoria Mueller
Hi! My name is Victoria and I am a student at AHA. When I am not busy studying for an endless amount of tests, I really enjoy writing short stories, watching old movies, and listening to my record collection. I joined the Comfort Closet team because I wanted to make an impact upon my local community. I truly believe in the importance of providing women and children with support in their times of need, and by supplying them with fitting clothes they enjoy, I hope we can provide them some “comfort”.

Megan Kim
Hi, my name is Megan! I am currently a student at the Academy of the Holy Angels. I am interested in pursuing a job in the medical field, and I am dedicated to improving patient care as an EMT. My passion for helping others has always been the center of who I am, whether through healthcare or service.
In addition to my interest in the medical field, I have always been drawn to fashion and its potential to make a positive impact.
I am also passionate about addressing environmental concerns such as pollution and promoting sustainability. I value service to others, and hope that through Comfort Closet, I can provide opportunity and hope for children and mothers who need it most. As the nonprofit’s treasurer, I ensure that every dollar goes directly into sustaining our efforts to provide meaningful, personalized clothing to those in need.

Regional Director
Aria Bamboat
Hi! My name is Aria, and I’m the founder of Threads of Hope, a youth-led nonprofit that creates handmade headbands, scrunchies, bags, and blankets to support local homeless shelters. I started Threads of Hope because I love helping others and wanted to use my creativity to make a positive impact in my community.
I’m passionate about sewing, fashion, and traveling, and I love bringing these interests together to create projects that give back. Through Threads of Hope, I’ve organized drives and made items that provide comfort and support to people who need it most.
I’m excited to partner with Comfort Closet because their mission of providing clothing and support aligns perfectly with my goals, and I know together we can make an even bigger difference.
